Charles Goff III has written and published a number of short stories over the years. He wrote the somewhat Dadaist Christmas story: “Lights” in 1986. When a producer from the UC Berkeley radio station, KALX, asked Goff to read the story on the air on Christmas Eve of 1986, Goff produced this lo-fi narrative, featuring improvised musical accompaniment from Disism co-founder, Killr "Mark" Kaswan.
Taped Rugs Productions published the written story in 1986 and released the recorded narrative on a CDR in 2004. Both the recorded narrative and a PDF file of the written story are included in this archive. Because of the poor sound quality of this recording, the author recommends reading the PDF file while listening.
